Sunshine Health Market and Café is a local health market right in your backyard. An institution for over 40 years, Sunshine is now under new ownership. This is what new owner, Jordan Willoughby, has to say about it:

 “I grew up biking the streets of Broadmoor, from Bayou Pierre to Dixie Gardens. I am a true local. This place is my home.” says new owner of Sunshine Health Market , Jordan Bass Willoughby. This is her new chapter of sharing a healthy lifestyle with the neighborhood she grew up in and all of Shreveport/Bossier.

She worked at Sunshine during her summers at Caddo Magnet High and LSU and had always had a passion for natural living. Quickly after graduating with a BS in Psychology, Jordan moved back home to Shreveport, LA to find her path for the rest of her life.

After her seven years of serving as head buyer, going to health expos all over the country & helping everyday customers, all at Sunshine; in the summer of 2019, Jordan was presented the opportunity to buy her now dream market and went for it! She is now and will continue making improvements and is trying to reach millennials all the way to the elderly about healthy living.

The Jordan and her daughter Kennedy now reside in Broadmoor. Jordan is always seeing familiar faces at Sunshine from past teachers, to neighbors, to even high school friends.
